Community Involvement

Believing in the redemptive work of many community groups, Next Christian Community encourages people to get involved in what others are already doing! Therefore, we run few ‘in-house’ programs.  Instead we encourage all to partner with the organizations within our communities that are active in good and godly work. Below is a list of organizations that we endorse as redemptive agents: please consider volunteering with them, supporting them financially or praying for them.

Mustard Seed - Dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of people in Edmonton's inner city.
Hope Mission - Providing an anchor of hope for the unemployed and homeless.
Bissell Centre - Making a difference in Edmonton's inner city.
Young Life - Modeling trust, respect, and responsibility for young people.
YOUCAN - Focused on youth-led initiatives in non-violent conflict resolution and violence prevention.
Youth Emergency Shelter Society - Giving youth at risk a chance.
St. Albert info - Providing community information and volunteer services for all community members.
YUGO - Meeting the physical and spiritual needs of Mexico, through which Rod and Cheryl Hoople serve.
HART - An organization meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the Ukraine.
Stop Abuse - SAIF is a not-for-profit group supporting those affected by family violence.
SAYCC - The St. Albert Youth Community Center focuses on building assets and skills in youth.
St. Albert Daycare Society - Provides a safe, healthy, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
St. Albert Parents Place - Providing service to all families in St. Albert and surrounding communities.
